Would love to see a repress on this. As others have said, the version of Love you Like I can on the Limited Numbers box set is a different track altogether. By the way, ironic title that one..
I'm here b/c of Pedro -->
If anyone decides to buy this, there is one seller currently and his username is mutt_discogs. I would strongly advise NOT BUYING FROM HIM! as i made that mistake once and it took me 18 months to get a refund as he didnt send any of the records, then he wouldnt reply, then he said do you want similar priced records? followed again by not replying then confirming my details, then asking me again if i want any other records. This went on for 18 months and it was the biggest scam ive saw. DO NOT BUY OFF HIM.
I also ordered a record from Mutt but didnt receive, was offered store credit. Didnt bother because my spidey senses were tingling.
completely agree, look elsewhere!
Yes happened to me too. Luckily it just took one month for me. He reacted only when I formed a Paypal complaint. Then he asked me to remove my negative feedback. He has some nerve!Doesn't surprise me anymore that this guy is selling almost all electronic releases...
I just saw this message and can completely approve it. The same happened to me and it took me 9 months to get a refund. DON'T BUY FROM HIM!
together with mike huckaby's - baseline 87 repressed here:
Nope, It's a 100% new dub remix versions. No repressing on the originals will be done.
nope, it's a 100% straight repress.
le.roi.du.soleiltogether with mike huckaby's - baseline 87 repressed here: don't believe those are the original mixes from this 10", as they appear to be "dub" remixes. My friend played that Limited Numbers 10" recently at a house party and it definitely sounds different than this release, which I own. So no, it was not repressed.
This record has been an important milestone in the revival of deep house in Europe. I remember that it was pretty underground and not easy to lay your hands on when it came out. It mainly got advertised on forums such as and was sold out very fast. That together with the deeper house sound everyone was searching for again (it was the time of the early MCDE's, the countless new blogs about Moodymann, etc.) made this the cult record that it is today. Quite funny to know is that when it came out, people on were disappointed by its sound quality (the whole record sounds a bit like you bought a Good Plus record here on discogs and you have to pump your speakers to the max to play it out), while these days, you would think the sound quality was purposely made a bit 'rougher' to make it sound more old schoolish. I remember the people from Sushitech acknowleding the fact that there went something wrong with the pressing that made it sound 'not how it should be'. This however has not been an issue since, which makes me believe that the lesser sound quality adds to the feeling these tracks give: the deep long night that will last forever. This is a wonderful record and a must-buy for everyone who loves house!
Honestly?I bought this for Dance With Me In Love. For like $9 or something. Which I thought was kinda silly to pay that much for a minute-and-a-half of music.Now hundreds of people want this 10" and I could sell it for $50 or whatever. But I won't. Not until I'm nearly homeless. Which could be soon.Dance With Me In Love is about the best minute-and-a-half of music ever.Anyway, you can't even buy a copy of this release for any amount of money right now. Instead buy Anonymous Release 3 for a twenty. That's a good record. Better bang /buck ratio than Chelsea.
"Love You Like I Can" is a re-interpretation of "Chemise - She Can't Love You" (1982) and "I Love You" is obviously inspired by René & Angela's classic "I Love You More" (1981).
Fantastic tracks, but the sound quality of the record is very bad.
Oh yeah. This pressing is TOTAL shit.
